A home is the most expensive purchase most people ever make. As an owner you will benefit from expert advice on the condition of your property – whether you plan to live in it, rent it out or sell it. By commissioning an RICS Home Survey you can feel assured that the service you receive is impartial and reliable.
WHAT IS A HOMEBUYER REPORT?
Survey Level 2: RICS HomeBuyer Report (HBR)
This is most suitable for conventional properties which are in reasonable condition. The report gives you more detailed information and provides the choice of either a survey or a survey & valuation.
In an RICS Homebuyer Survey one of our RICS professionals conducts an in-depth visual inspection of the property. Their report provides an expert account of the property’s condition and highlights any problems in clear and easy to understand ‘traffic light’ rating.
A HomeBuyer Report is generally better for properties that:
• were built within the last 100 years
• are of more conventional design
• are built from common building materials
• are in a reasonable condition, as far as you can tell,
